Nature, and Life.

This is your boat. This is your life. Row it in whichever direction you want to or let it sail itself and go with the flow. It will definitely land up somewhere. Just let it go sometimes because you are just an ignorant human who knows as much about life as you know about life after death. Nothing, practically. Yes, you know nothing about life and nature. Just a small portion is visible to you just like a person tethered in a cave facing it’s back can see only his shadow on the back wall, not the fire lit at the entrance of the cave.

You’re just an ignorant creature sailing on the boat in a river that is endless. You don’t know any directions, you don’t have a magnetic compass that guides you through. Just feel the cool breeze and the freshness of your surroundings. Enjoy the natural view on the riverside. Don’t worry about your destination. Just have faith, that you’ll reach the right island, the one that is destined.

Don’t be impatient and try to sail your boat speedily. That’ll just interfere with your destiny, the island you’re meant to be on. Sailing it according to what you want could even overturn it. The boat can sink and it will if you try to control it. Just believe that the boat can control itself because nature always works for the good.

Nature is good, but humans try to control nature, which is not very prudent. So much so that we need laws to keep order, to make sure we stay on track. Without our laws, society would quickly descend into chaos. The laws of man are guarantors of order, a necessary control against the inherent greediness of our species.

Destiny is not in your hands your greediness will not let you achieve hefty out of life, it is in you.  It is in your mind. It is in faith. Faith is important. Something is better than nothing just as faith is better than no faith. Delusions are better than no faith. Delusion, which means that the truth is hidden from you, is always good for you. Ignorance is better than knowledge, most of the time.

Eighteenth-century English poet Thomas Gray wrote a beautiful poem in 1742 titled “Ode on a Distant Prospect of Eton College.” In it, he wrote:

“Where ignorance is bliss, ’tis folly to be wise.”

It’s not stupid that you are unaware of certain things, it will not make you look weak or ignorant anywhere.  When you are all open with the secrets of the universe and your life,  that might be worrisome because all things need not been known for the betterment of yourselves. So don’t run around looking for answers for everything happening around you. Enjoy the bliss of nature you are gifted with. Don’t try to stop the flow of nature, that is how it is meant to be. You cannot stop the flow of energy too. It is present in such a way in our universe that it cannot be hindered.

When the secrets of the universe are no longer hidden, what makes it worth being part of it? Where is the fun?

That is the purpose of Life, solving riddles and enjoying it. It will be no fun if you know the secrets and solutions for everything,  because some facts are better-kept secret, for the good of mankind. Man doesn’t know anything at all, however intelligent he may be, and the delusion that he is mighty makes him succeed and come up with innovative ideas. Therefore, it is futile exploring the secrets of nature and finding out the truth, except if you are a scientist, of course. Faith would suffice for reaching your desired destination. And what you desire is where you’ll land up.

Nature is not your enemy, it doesn’t ask you to be stagnant, have faith, and believe that secrets of nature will unravel when the right time approaches, till then just let things happen their own way.

Sometimes, Let Life flow. Don’t force it.
