Tandav makers considering to cut the controversial scene

After the video streaming platform is bought under Information and Broadcasting Ministery, its effect can be seen on recent release on Amazon prime Saif Ali khan starer Tandav. On Sunday, the I&B Ministry summoned Amazon Prime Video India officials after BJP leader Ram Kadam wrote a letter to Union Minister Prakash Javadekar complaining that Tandav “hurts Hindu religious sentiments”. BJP leader Manoj Kotak supported Ram Kadam and expressed similar concerns as he stated in his letter to Javadekar that the makers “have mocked Hindu gods”, and urged for a ban on the series. Both leaders cited the scene where Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub can be seen holding a Trishul and a damru while acting in a college play.

Looking at the complaints, Amazon India had a fundamental conversation with the I&B Ministry on Monday. A source from the show’s imaginative group uncovered, “The group offered to delicate a statement of regret, which seemed to fulfill the service for the present.

Before long, the big cheeses of the stage had another gathering with the central members of Amazon US, and drafted the authority articulation in an interview with them and imaginative partners, including chief Ali Abbas Zafar and maker Himanshu Sharma.” The assertion, given on Monday night, read, “The cast and team didn’t have any goal to outrage the feelings of any individual, standing, local area, race, religion or affront any foundation, ideological group or individual… The team genuinely apologizes on the off chance that it has unexpectedly harmed anyone’s religious feelings. (sic)”

To sort this whole controversy out the makers are thinking to put down the scene which shows any sign of hurting anyone’s religious sentiments.
