Knowing’ right is not equivalent to ‘doing’ right.
Humans are intelligent and, in their hearts, they know what is right or wrong. They know what is short term pleasure and what is long term gain. What leads where.
Still, people continue on or choose something which is not in their best interest in the long term. The question is – Why? Because what they lack is courage in taking those steps. They have the fear of the unknown. They believe in the world’s ability to shake their lives down more than they believe their own ability to overcome the challenges. And while doing so, they justify it by convincing themselves to be thoughtful, practical, etc.
It is easy to gain knowledge but much harder to apply it in real-life situations to solve a problem. Don’t get satisfied with just ‘knowing’ what is right.
Have the courage to do what you know is right. Boarding a wrong plane will take you to a different destination which you may not like.
One Life. Live Boundless.
