What is Success

Winston Churchill said, “Success is not final, failure is not fatal. It is the courage to continue that counts.”

What is Success?

Success to people vary.. Some think they are successful, when they have a billion dollar business, large social media following and all those pictures we see of famous people, we relate it to success.

The other category of people think it to be well paid 9-5 job a perfect relationship and they are successful. Mostly we fall into this category.

And few think success to be what they feel about themselves as human beings, and how their values could help to change the world, leaving all the materialistic approach.

None of these things or people is wrong, but being like them doesn’t necessarily make you successful. Many people have fought and struggled to the top only to feel miserable and burned out once they get there.

They’re unhappy because they pursued the wrong definition of success—one that didn’t match their values.

During our childhood and early adulthood, we were taught different ideas of success from our parents, teachers, and friends. Everyone taught us their ways and how do they see success for themselves. Although it’s OK to value the opinions and hopes of others, we shouldn’t necessarily adopt them as our own.

Since we are born different, what might be a success to us may not be to others. Thus no one can and no one should impose their version of success on us. No one can tell us what it means to live a good life because it is about our own choices.

Jim Rohn said, “If you don’t, design your own lie plans, chances are you’ll fall into someone else’s plan. And guess what they have planned for you? Not much.”

To become successful, one has to have – and keep – a plan on how they will obtain success. Keep improving and increasing your work ethic, no matter how many hurdles you face. The day you are determined about something, that too will be counted as your success.

Never aim to show your success, this may bring you down, since it is a human nature. Be willing to improve from your end, and trust me this will bring out the result you waited for.

Whether you want to become an athlete, musician, speaker, entrepreneur, model, etc., train to become the best at what you do. Give it all. Work as hard, or harder, as the top professionals in that field.

Know that you will experience some failure along the way – but it’s important to remember that failure is a necessary step on the road to success. You’ve heard it before; it’s not how many times you fall that matters; what matters is how many times you stand and chase for your passion with more belief and enthusiasm.

When you keep reaching for your goals – then look back to see how far you’ve come since falling – it is the failures that allow you to achieve a sense of satisfaction, no matter where you are on your journey.

Thus  It’s easy to assume that success means obtaining a specific object, such as a job or social status, and to believe that if we get that thing, we’ll be successful. But some of the greatest successes resulted from the worst failures

A great quote about success comes from Ralph Waldo Emerson:

To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends; to appreciate beauty, to find the best in others, to leave the world a little bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch or a redeemed social condition; To know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded.

One life. Live Boundless
